Less concerned with performance than presence, the work is shaped by atmosphere, human connection and the moments that exist between the obvious ones. Not the fireworks themselves, but what it felt like to stand beneath them.

Not the fireworks themselves, but what it felt like to stand beneath them.

There was so much intention woven through this entire day. Not just in how it’s appearance, but in what it meant.

An Irish and Indian wedding built from symbols, gestures, family history and future memory. Calla lilies passed between hands during the ceremony. Rings warmed by every guest before being exchanged. Vows sealed away with a bottle of wine for their future selves to one day reopen. A dress hand-painted by the bride’s great Aunt and Mother, with a small clover as a nod to Ireland. A surprise fireworks display. A baraat that shook the ground. Irish wolfhounds wandering the gardens like something from folklore.

It felt less like watching traditions side by side, and more like watching two histories slowly fold into one another.

These are the weddings I am most drawn to.
The ones where meaning exists everywhere. In clothing, movement, sound, family, objects, ritual, atmosphere. The kinds of days where photography becomes less about simply documenting events, and more about preserving evidence of people, heritage and feeling.

An archive of not just how it looked.
But what mattered.
